Palace of Fine Arts – SF
Quick shot of the Palace of Fine Arts on the May 2013 full moon. Wish I’d been able to get the moon in the shot. San Francisco, California.
Originally constructed to be temporary, as part of the Pananma-Pacific Exposition (1915), Beaux-Arts. It was demolished in 1967 and rebuilt to be a permanent structure.
Architects: William Gladstone Merchant; Bernard Maybeck.
