California Academy of Sciences – SF

On the last visit to San Francisco we had a chance to visit the California Academy of Sciences.  What an amazing place!  We spent so much time in the Rainforest and the aquarium, that we ran out of time for the Planetarium…DANG!  I guess we’ll have to go back.  I had seen the Living Roof  from across the concourse, while visiting the De Young last year, so I finally got to see what it was all about.

The Steinhart Aquarium- Snapping Turtle.  What a crazy pre-historic looking thing!

This Jellyfish aquarium has lights that periodically change colors.  This was my fav.
